Sexual and Reproductive Health is a focal area of work for SSDS. Staff members are skilled in the design, implementation, and evaluation of sexual and reproductive health services, in multi-sectoral prevention activities with educational and communications components, and in sexual and reproductive health-related advocacy.
Staff members also have expertise in numerous technical sub-components of reproductive health - such as family planning, maternal health care, adolescent health, reproductive rights advocacy - and HIV/AIDS, as well as strategies that integrate comprehensive sexual and reproductive health interventions with primary care and existing vertical maternal-child health, family planning, and HIV/AIDs programs.
