SSDS Experience and Expertise
SSDS professional staff have provided consulting, research, and training services to government agencies and non-governmental organizations in more than 95 countries around the world, as well as to multi-lateral agencies, major international developmental organizations, and universities.
We operate mainly in the social sectors, focusing particularly on health, nutrition, population, and education programs. Much of our work has been on health systems or health services components (e.g. pharmaceutics and contraceptive supply, Continuous Quality Improvement systems, social marketing, financial planning and management), with specialized expertise in a wide range of areas including in child survival, adolescent/youth health and development, sexual and reproductive health, malaria, micronutrients, disability, and risk factors such as alcohol.
This skill and experience is drawn on by staff in their various activities which include:
