Who We Are: SSDS and Its Staff
Ms. Senier joined SSDS in December 1998 to work on SSDS's domestic research projects on risk assessment, alcohol and injuties. Her role has included writing and editing manuscripts and interim reports, and keeping various complex and interrelated projects on schedule. Ms. Senier has over eight years experience in project management in the fields of educational publishing and private consulting. For five years she worked with D.C. Heath, a college textbook publisher, managing the production of multimedia products from conceptualization through interface design and initial specifications, to production, manufacturing, and final publication. As an account manager for three years at Whole Systems International, she managed the design, development, and production of self-study texts for pharmaceutical sales representatives, coordinating the efforts of a sizable staff of in-house and freelance writers, editors, and graphic designers and illustrators.
Her educational background includes a liberal arts degree in American Studies, and an MPH from the Boston University School of Public Health in May, 2000, which included coursework in health behavior, preventive medicine, program evaluation, injury epidemiology and prevention, and cardiovascular epidemiology.
